Reading Wrap-Up: January 2018

A new year, a new reading challenge: the 2018 Reading Challenge. Unlike previous years however, it is not my explicit intention to “complete” the challenge. Instead, I intend to read at least one book a month of my choosing; the books I read will bear no consideration to the listed criteria, and that in itself is so incredibly freeing. Reading for pleasure is so highly underrated in the book blogging community.

January 2018 statistics
Total books read: 1
Total pages read: 137

Books read (best-worst)
Second Best Friend by Non Pratt (6/10)

Ok, so I only read one book in January, and a short one at that, but technically I am on track to  complete my personal reading challenge. I’ve stated before that 2018 isn’t going to be a numbers game for me, and that I am suffering from burnout somewhat having devoured ten books in December, but it would still be nice to get stuck into some meatier fiction in February.
