Reading Wrap-Up: May 2015

Whilst I read less in May than any other month of the year so far, I’m fine with that since my final month of university took priority over the 2015 Reading Challenge. Despite exams and coursework, I still managed to read five books this month, with three of them being among my favourites of the year – unfortunately only one counted towards the challenge!

May 2015 statistics
Total books read: 5
Total pages read: 1,952
Favourite book: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

#16 A book from an author you love that you haven’t read yet – Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas: A New Favourite (#26)
#52 A book about self-discovery – Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson: In a Well-Ordered Universe (#27)
#53 A book written by a YouTuber – All I Know Now: Wonderings and Reflections on Growing Up Gracefully by Carrie Hope Fletcher: The Disappointment of a Bad Book (#28)
#54 A fairy-tale retelling – A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas: A Court of Thorns and Roses (#29)
#55 A book you’re conflicted about – Looking for Alaska by John Green: Conflicted about John Green (#30)

Last month I set myself the target of reading four books, so I’m happy with five, even if in my heart of hearts I thought I’d read one or two more. School comes first – no longer though, as I’ve finished my undergraduate degree!

June is going to be extremely busy, as I have at least four concerts in four different cities, but I’m going with an ambitious target of eight books. Happy summer everyone!

Twenty-five down, twenty-five to go. (Thirty read)

  1. YOUR BOOKSHELVES ARE GORGEOUS. Not sure if I’ve said that before, but it can never be said enough!

  2. That is so funny. I was scrolling down to leave a comment along the lines of: “I wish my bookshelves looked as lovely as yours,” and I see Becca beat me to it! So, anyway, what she said! 🙂
