Reading Wrap-Up: March 2015

Can you believe it, we are a quarter of the way through the year, and the 2015 Reading Challenge already?! Once again, despite saying that I wouldn’t have a great deal of time for reading this month, I somehow managed to cram in a lot – in terms of books read and genre.

March 2015 statistics
Total books read: 6
Total pages read: 2,847
Favourite book: Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer

#11 A book with a one word title – Insurgent by Veronica Roth: Second Book Syndrome (#15)
#14 A nonfiction book – This Book Is Gay by James Dawson: Rainbow Pride (#14)
#17 A book a friend recommended – Point Blanc by Anthony Horowitz: Great Recommendations (#18)
#20 A book at the bottom of your to read list – A Clash Of Kings by George R.R. Martin: A Distinct Lack of Clashing of Kings (#16)
#34 A book with a love triangle – Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer: Solar Eclipse (#17)
#36 A book set in high school – The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot: What Makes You Different (#19)

At the beginning of March, I set my target as wanting to finish the four books I was reading at the time. Whilst I only finished three of them, I did read another three books, so I’m incredibly happy with the amount I read in the month. I also smashed my previous record for total number of pages read. Once again, I’m going to keep my expected reading low for April, as it’s going to be busy writing my dissertation and revising for exams. I’ll aim for three books – I don’t want any additional pressure!

Based on my current performance, I’ll complete my challenge, reading 76 books. If it’s as good as that, I’ll be very happy come December 31st.

Eighteen down, thirty-two to go. (Nineteen read)

My journey will also be instagrammed frequently on @charlottebibliophile
